Don’t Be This Guy VIII

You see all types of people when camping, and our stop in De Pere, Wisconsin, proved no different. Normally, this wouldn’t be worth mentioning, but the sites at this campground were very close together, so you tend to value every bit of space you have.

The folks in the site next to us were already there and set up when we arrived. It was pretty easy to see where one site ended and the next began. The water and electric pedestals basically marked the boundary, and each camper should stay on their side.

Our neighbors had pulled in at an angle and barely cleared the pedestal when they opened their slide. It was obvious, however, that part of their camper extended into our site. What made it worse was that when they returned later, they parked their truck on our side as well.

We asked them to move the truck, which they did without objection. However, each time they returned, they seemed to push the boundary again. It never ceases to amaze me how oblivious some people can be to something that seems so obvious.
