- Irvine Shade and Door. A good location for interior decor products for your RV
- Salvage Yards are the last resource as your RV ages and original parts are harder to find. Colaw RV Salvage is very user friendly.
- RV Life’s 2026 Towing Guide. A great resource for new or experienced RVers.

- Good Sam Club, discounts at many campground
- National Park Pass Disounts
- Comprehensive list of rules for using Rest Stops for overnights, by State. Page has ads so ignore them but the information is good.
- Flatest Route is a website that shows the elevation between cities. Enter your start and stop points and this site will give you the flatest route. Caution, it doesn’t look at height restrictions. Use in conjunction with other routing tools like the RV Life App

Recomended Events, Festivals and Locations
- Pyrotechnics International Guild Firework Conference, an annual event that produces fireworks shows you will never forget, locatons change each year.
- If you are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, spend a day in Sault St Marie. Well worth the time to explore and learn about the Great Lakes. Mackinac Island is another stop to make. It’s only 50 miles south of Sault St Marie. The island has a wealth of history and takes you back to a simpler time. See more on both locations on our 2026 Destinations page.
- There is a great burger place in Mackinaw City that you should visit if in the area. Its called the Bridgeview Cafe and well worth the stop.
